Zimbabwe’s President, Robert Mugabe on Wednesday, February 4, fell down a group of steps after arriving in the country from Ethiopia.
90-year-old
Mugabe had addressed his supporters from a podium at the Harare
International Airport but when he made to leave, he missed a step and
fell, The Associated Press reports.
According to witnesses, he was quickly lifted up by aides and rushed to his limousine which then drove away.
"He addressed supporters who welcomed him ... He missed a step as he walked down from the podium and immediately fell down," a witness said.
